How long does the hair need to be?
You must have at least two weeks worth of growth. I know. I know. Your hair grows extremely fast. I’ve been doing this for a while. Trust me. It will be better for both of us if you just do this. The grow out may actually be worse than the actual service. But really, your results will be worth it.
Does it hurt?
I would be lying if I said no. But there are worse things we will go through in life. It’s just like a bandaid, quick and in the moment. I like to breathe clients through it. I feel like it takes your mind off the process a little. And I find story time a great distraction.
How long will it last?
The first time varies because we have what are called hair cycles. Typically you will get about 2 weeks of smooth and bare.
Well, when do I come back?
Every four to six weeks depending on your personal hair growth and preference. (A personal little tidbit: In the summer I like to get a bikini every three weeks and go full bald every 6. It helps with swimsuit season and cuts some costs:)
Oh, AND ABSOLUTELY NO SHAVING in between. It takes a good 3 or 4 consecutive waxes to really get a nice clean wax. If you shave between, you’re defeating the purpose.
